Three federal officers, driver injured in Southeast DC crash

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police in the District are investigating after three federal officers were hospitalized following a crash in Southeast on Wednesday night.

According to the United States Park Police (USPP), the collision happened around 11 p.m. on Sept. 25, in the 4700 block of Southern Avenue, near the Highland Ridge Apartments.

Police told DC News Now that a vehicle made a left turn onto Southern Avenue and collided with a cruiser with two USPP officers and a US Marshal inside.
