Waldorf Woman Faces Felony Assault Charges After Pushing Victim Down Stairs During Domestic Dispute

WALDORF, Md. — A Waldorf woman is facing felony and misdemeanor assault charges after allegedly pushing a male victim down a flight of stairs during a domestic dispute, causing injuries that required hospitalization. Challon Estelle Hall, 41, was arrested following the incident at their shared residence.

According to Charles County court documents, the incident occurred on Sept. 14, 2025, around 5:57 p.m. when Deputy G. Leonard responded to an apartment on Heron Place for a domestic assault report. Court records state the couple had been arguing throughout the day and that the victim had been consuming alcohol.

Police say that when the couple returned to their residence, the argument continued, and the victim allegedly used his shoulder to bump or push Hall as they walked past each other. In response, Hall allegedly pushed the victim down the stairs, causing him to fall to the bottom…
