Waldorf Stepson Admits to Fatal Stabbing During 911 Call

WALDORF, Md. — A stepson called 911 Friday night to report he had stabbed his stepfather during an argument at their Waldorf residence, according to dispatch. The victim died despite CPR efforts in what authorities confirmed was a fatal domestic stabbing.

Charles County emergency units responded to an Orkney Place address around 8:43 p.m. on October 3, 2025, after the stepson called to report the stabbing. Officials said, the caller advised “he was in an argument with his stepfather and he stabbed him.” The caller was described as uncooperative during the 911 call.

Emergency responders initially staged outside the residence until the scene was secured. Dispatch transmitted “EMS can go in” at 8:48 p.m., indicating officers had to clear the scene before medical crews could safely approach.
