WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A 19-year-old was arrested and charged on Oct. 1 after D.C. police responded to reports of gunshots back in 2024.
On Monday, Oct. 14, around 10 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of N Street, Northwest, for the sounds of gunshots. Officers found evidence of a shooting, but no injuries were reported.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, pursuant to a DC Superior Court arrest warrant, 19-year-old Lorenzo Covington of Northwest, DC, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
