Metropolitan police have made a second arrest in connection with a shooting that took place in Northwest D.C. in 2024. The department confirmed the recent arrest of 19-year-old Zion Greely, also from Northwest D.C., charging him with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun). On the scene, they discovered evidence of gunfire, although no victims were found. Investigators worked to quickly close in on the suspects, leading to these arrests. According to the Metropolitan Police Department’s report, Covington was taken into custody on October 1, with Greely’s arrest following last Thursday.
