Alexandria police: Employee hid cameras in restaurant’s restroom

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Police in Alexandria charged a Maryland man accused of placing hidden cameras inside a restaurant’s employee restroom.

The Alexandria Police Department (APD) said that on Sept. 20, 2025, a mom and her three-year-old daughter found an iPhone camera that was actively recording and hidden in the employee bathroom’s vanity at Gustave Boulangerie.

Detectives found a recording of several victims who were recorded while using the restroom. Both adults and children were recorded.
