Man robbed for gold chain in Northeast DC, MPD searches for thief

WASHINGTON (7News) — Police in D.C. are offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest of a person who robbed a man of his gold chain in the Northeast area last month.

The robbery happened on Monday, Sept. 29, in the 2100 block of Queens Chapel Road, Northeast, at about 9:44 p.m.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the man was in the area when someone robbed him of his necklace and ran away…
