The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on October 18, 2025, in the 3200 block of 15th Place, Southeast, Washington, D.C. Officers responded to a report of a shooting at about 9:43 p.m. and found 37-year-old Eric Jones of Southeast D.C. with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
