The Metropolitan Police Department has arrested 20-year-old Jalen Shelton of Northwest, DC, in connection with an armed robbery on October 25, 2025, in the 200 block of W Street, Northwest. Officers responded at about 8:15 p.m. after reports that a suspect showed a firearm, assaulted people, and took property before leaving the scene.
Police arrested Shelton soon after the incident. He was found with a firearm and items believed to be stolen. Shelton is charged with armed robbery. The investigation is ongoing.
