WASHINGTON — Three separate carjacking incidents happened near Logan Circle Saturday night — two of them just 10 minutes apart.
The first incident was at 7:16 p.m. on 7th Street and Rhode Island Avenue Northwest. A person was driving when a group of teenagers surrounded the car. He abruptly braked and got out of the car, police said, and that’s when the teenagers started punching the driver. The person tried to run away, but they pushed him to the ground and kicked him in the face.
When the person finally got away, two of the teenagers got in the car and drove away eastbound on Rhode Island Avenue. But they didn’t make it far. After about half a city block, the car crashed on the 600 block of Rhode Island and the teenagers ran away on foot…
