5 injured in Northeast DC shooting; police searching for gold sedan

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Police are investigating after five people were injured in a shooting in Northeast Washington, D.C., overnight.

Officers found all five people shot in the 2300 block of Bladensburg Road, Northeast, after responding to the area for a reported shooting at around 1:48 a.m. on Nov. 2, according to D.C. police.

Medics transported the victims, three men and two women, to area hospitals. All five people were conscious and breathing when they were found, police noted.
