PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A 19-year-old man will serve 50 years behind bars after he murdered his “mentor” in Landover last February, the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday.
Raymond Terry III, 19, of Landover, pled guilty to first-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence in the fatal shooting of Vincent Fisher III, 26, of Landover.
According to police, Terry shot Fisher while the two were inside an SUV in the 2000 block of East Marlboro Avenue on the night of Feb. 16. The state’s attorney’s office noted that Terry shot Fisher from the backseat of the SUV, which was Fisher’s, and that another person was inside the vehicle during the shooting but was uninjured.
