The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has announced the arrest of a 16-year-old female from Silver Spring, Maryland, in connection with a violent carjacking that occurred in Northwest Washington, D.C. earlier this year.
According to MPD, the incident took place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at approximately 7:16am in the 1100 block of Rhode Island Avenue NW. Police say the victim had pulled over when the suspect entered the driver’s seat of the vehicle and attempted to flee.
