Last Saturday, when at about 8:35 p.m., DC Fire and EMS were summoned via a distress 911 call to the 1300 block of Morris Road, Southeast, where they discovered an individual in a grave condition, having suffered what was determined to be stab wounds to the upper body, the victim was still alive and breathing when help arrived but despite the efforts by the medical responders, life ebbed away at the hospital following unsuccessful attempts to save them.
