WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Medics evaluated several students Wednesday after they ate a food item with a drug in it that a classmate is accused of bringing to school.
Katreena Shelby, Principal of Stephen E. Kramer Middle School in Southeast D.C., sent a message to families letting them know about the incident.
Shelby explained that the student shared the food item containing the drug with others. After the classmates ate it, six students began to feel sick. The school nurse evaluated them.
