Second suspect charged with murder after man shot, killed in 2023 DC shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A second person has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Northwest D.C. that left a man dead more than two years ago.

Around 2:45 p.m. on July 30, 2023, officers responded to a shooting in the 100 block of Farragut Street, Northwest.

There, 46-year-old Donald B. Childs was found suffering from a gunshot wound and was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
