A federal agent working with the Metropolitan Police Department fired gunshots in Northeast after a car chase Thursday. No one was hit.
At about 4:45 p.m., police and federal agents working as part of the D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force tried to stop a car for a traffic violation at the intersection of Minnesota Avenue SE and Pennsylvania Avenue SE, a police spokesperson told Washington’s WTOP-FM. The driver then fled in his car.
