H Street double shooting leaves 2 hurt; DC police investigating

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — An investigation is underway in the District after a shooting along H Street left two people injured overnight.

The Metropolitan Police Department said officers responded to the shooting in the 1300 block of H Street, Northeast, just minutes before 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 16. At the scene, police found two men with gunshot wounds.

Medics took the men, who were reportedly both conscious and breathing, to the hospital for treatment.
