Probation Problem: PG County Rape Convict Wanted After Missed Court Hearing

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — The Prince George’s County sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in locating a Temple Hills man wanted on a bench warrant tied to a rape conviction and alleged probation violations.

Deputies are seeking Milton Christopher Wright, 33, of Temple Hills. A sheriff’s wanted poster lists Wright as wanted on a warrant for first-degree rape, with additional underlying charges that include second-degree rape, first- and third-degree burglary, reckless endangerment, fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault.

Court records show Wright pleaded guilty in 2018 in Prince George’s County Circuit Court to second-degree rape and first-degree burglary stemming from a July 2017 offense. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison on each count, with most of the time suspended, and placed on five years of supervised probation…
