ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Adoption fees will be waived for some of the adoptable pets at the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, MetLife Pet Insurance will be sponsoring adoption fees for all animals that are older than six months in an effort to bring more animals to their new homes for the holidays.
