Carted Away: Waldorf Target Store Theft Charge Leaves Accokeek Woman Held Without Bond

WALDORF, Md. — An Accokeek woman accused of trying to steal more than $400 in merchandise from a Target in Waldorf is being held without bond and also faces an older, still-pending theft case in Charles County, according to court records.

Zenovia Anniest Quattlebaum, 63, is charged in Charles County District Court with one count of misdemeanor theft of $100 to under $1,500 in connection with a Nov. 8, 2025 incident at the Target on Western Parkway.

A Target loss-prevention officer told authorities he watched a woman on store surveillance select household cleaning supplies and other items, then attempt to leave without paying. The officer stopped her at the entrance and escorted her to the loss-prevention office, where merchandise valued at $404.17 was recovered, the statement of probable cause says…
