Body Found in Towed Car 15 Days After Removal from Woodbridge Parking Lot

Authorities in Virginia are investigating after a man’s body went unnoticed in a car for 15 days while the vehicle was towed twice between counties. According to the Prince William County Police Department, a private towing company was first called on Nov. 3 to remove a vehicle from the PS Business Park parking lot on PS Business Center Drive in Woodbridge. The car was taken from the lot and later relocated to a second tow yard in Fairfax County.

Tow Workers Alert Police

It wasn’t until workers at the Fairfax County tow lot looked inside the vehicle more than two weeks later that the grim discovery was made. They immediately contacted police after spotting a deceased person lying on the floor of the backseat.
