Credit card machine ripped from register, knife pulled during DC robbery

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Two people were arrested in connection with a robbery and assault in Southwest D.C. on Tuesday night.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 25, officers responded to a business in the 3900 block of South Capitol Street, SW, for the report of a robbery.

There, police said the suspects entered a business and allegedly began stealing merchandise. When one of the suspects tried to make a purchase, the victim refused, confronting them about the stolen goods…
