Caught Cold With Cookware: Theft Report At Kohl’s Leads To Chase And Arrest In Lexington Park

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Alexander Vaugh Twitty, 35, of Washington, D.C., was arrested on Nov. 17, 2025, and charged with theft of property valued between $100 and $1,500. Twitty is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 22, 2025.

According to court documents, Maryland State Police responded to Kohl’s in Lexington Park for a reported retail theft involving a male suspect accused of taking a KitchenAid mixer valued at $499.99.

Police records describe the suspect as a Black male wearing a black face mask, a dark gray and orange sweatshirt, gray sweatpants with red designs, and off-white shoes. A loss prevention officer reported that the suspect exited the store without paying and walked toward Buck Hewitt Road before entering a black Kia K5 parked in a separate lot…
