Man dies after fire at senior housing complex in Southeast DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man is dead after a fire broke out at a senior housing complex in Southeast D.C. early Sunday morning, according to officials.

In a post on the X platform just after 7:45 a.m., the DC Fire and EMS Department said crews were responding to a fire at an apartment in the 2200 block of Savannah Street SE.
