Department of Defense Press Secretary Kingsley Wilson has reportedly said all members of the National Guard patrolling Washington, D.C., are now armed.
The news comes after the Trump administration added 500 additional guard troops to the city following the shooting of two guard members last week. During a press briefing this morning, Wilson also announced that National Guard members will be paired with members of local law enforcement.
