Boy shot in Southern Ave. Metro parking garage

WASHINGTON — A boy is in the hospital recovering from a gunshot wound.

On Thursday, officials with the Metro Transit Police Department and Prince George’s County Police Department were called to the Southern Ave. Metro Station at 3:45 p.m. for reports of gunfire.

When officers arrived, they found a boy who had been shot inside the parking garage. Police say he was conscious and breathing. He was taken to a local hospital; his current condition is unknown at this time. Information regarding his identity, including name, age, or where he’s from, has not been released publicly at this time…
