Washington D.C. Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect Caught on Camera During Residential Burglary

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Washington Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect captured on home surveillance footage during a residential burglary in the district. The video, released by authorities, shows the suspect walking through the kitchen of a home and opening a refrigerator before continuing to move through the residence.

According to Breitbart News, police said the burglary occurred recently inside a private residence within the D.C. metro area. The man, who was wearing a gray puffer jacket, yellow pants, and a black backpack, appeared to be searching through the homeowner’s kitchen when the incident was recorded.

Authorities said the video provides a clear look at the suspect’s actions and appearance, and they are hoping the public can help identify him.
