WASHINGTON — A man is in the hospital recovering from serious injuries after crashing his car into a tree.
On Friday, a Virginia State Trooper and several Good Samaritans helped rescue Foday Kanu, 34, of Upper Marlboro from his burning Tesla. The crash occurred at 7 a.m. on I-95 in Caroline County.
According to police, the 2024 Tesla went off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Sergeant S. Page was driving along the interstate and stopped to check on the driver, just as the car caught fire. The doors to the car were locked and wouldn’t open…
