DC man arrested after strangling, threatening to kill Uber driver over disagreement: MPD

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A man was arrested after he was accused of strangling an Uber driver and threatening to kill him in Washington, D.C., during a disagreement, according to the police report.

It all took place in the 4600 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SW on Dec. 13.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the incident occurred just after 10:15 p.m. when an Uber driver picked up the passenger. That’s when the two got into a disagreement about adding a stop to the route.
