Police are ramping up their search for a suspect following a shooting in Northwest D.C. earlier this month, as the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) reaches out to the public for assistance. The incident took place on the morning of December 7, on the 2000 block of 14th Street, Northwest, where an individual brandished a firearm and shot another person after a physical confrontation.
According to the official MPD press release, the altercation and subsequent shooting occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m., with the suspect fleeing post-haste. The victim, whose injuries were reported as non-life-threatening, received immediate medical treatment at a local hospital.
