College Park Men Crossed State Lines To Run $3M Copper Wire Theft Ring Across Virginia: Sheriff

That’s the scope of a copper wire theft ring investigators say was orchestrated by three College Park men now facing felony charges after an eight-month investigation in Loudoun County, authorities announced.

The sheriff’s office said deputies arrested Alexandru Constantin, 43; Cristinel Petrovici, 38; and Robert Ciucur, 29, following a regional probe into repeated copper wire thefts at utility facilities.
