Montgomery County Police 2nd District officers were dispatched at approximately 11:31 a.m. on Monday, January 5, to Walt Whitman High School at 7100 Whittier Boulevard in Bethesda after a student allegedly assaulted a staff member, according to Fox 5’s Allison Papson.
According to the Montgomery County Police Department, the staff member was transported to an area hospital with non life threatening injuries, and the investigation remains ongoing with additional information to be released as it becomes available.
