DC man jailed for 54 months after stabbing Pennsylvania tourist in near-fatal attack

WASHINGTON (7News) — A Washington, D.C. man has been sentenced to 54 months in prison for stabbing a tourist who was visiting the nation’s capital.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro announced the sentencing of Maurice Felder, 54, which follows Felder’s conviction by a Superior Court jury on Oct. 15. Felder was found guilty on charges of assault with significant bodily injury while armed, assault with a dangerous weapon, and possession of a prohibited weapon.
