Amazon delivery truck found in parking lot after being stolen in Alexandria, police say

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — Police are investigating after an Amazon delivery truck was stolen Tuesday night in Alexandria.

Alexandria Police Department Spokesperson Tracy Walker told DC News Now that officers responded to the Halal Market in the 5200 block of Duke Street just after 9 p.m. for the report of a stolen Amazon delivery truck.

At the scene, police learned that the truck had been left unattended, with the keys still inside. However, about 25 minutes later, police said the delivery vehicle was located in a parking lot in the 5300 block of Holmes Run Parkway.
