A beloved photographer was killed in downtown D.C. this week at the young age of 26.
Marckell Williams, a graduate of the University of Miami, was a photojournalist for the Washington Informer. According to NBC Washington, he would take photos of elected leaders, local festivals and so much more over the years. People who knew him described him as “an amazing visual storyteller.”
Unfortunately, Williams was struck by a Chevy Malibu that was trying to evade the police this Wednesday at 4 p.m. local time. He was reportedly walking across 16th Street at L Street when this fatal accident occurred…
