WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Responders conducted a rescue Sunday morning after a vehicle overturned on Interstate 395 in Washington, D.C.
The DC Fire and EMS Department said crews responded to the single-vehicle crash at the I-395 southbound exit near New York Avenue NW shortly after 6:35 a.m. There, they found a woman who was trapped in an overturned vehicle.

The department’s rescue crew quickly removed the woman from the vehicle and transported her to the hospital for treatment. Officials noted that she had serious injuries.
