Police announce second arrest in 2024 Leesburg AT&T store burglary

LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) — Leesburg police announced a second arrest in a burglary that happened at an AT&T store in 2024.

The Leesburg Police Department said Tuesday that officers arrested 26-year-old Deangelo D. Epps of Washington, D.C., for a burglary that happened at the store located at 1604 Village Market Blvd. on May 22, 2024.

Around 4:40 a.m., officers responded to an alarm that was activated at the business. After arriving, they saw that the front glass door had been broken. The suspects had stolen items and escaped before police arrived.
