A 15-year-old girl died Wednesday afternoon after the vehicle in which she was riding lost control and knocked down a utility pole on Lockwood Drive in Silver Spring, Montgomery County police spokesperson Degan Bartels told Bethesda Today.
The vehicle, a white Lexus GS350 sedan, that struck the pole was one of two involved in the collision, according to police. Another passenger in the car, a 20-year-old woman, is in critical condition after the collision.
