WASHINGTON (7News) — Reports of an assault and shooting near Catholic University briefly placed the Northeast, D.C. campus on alert as police searched for a person of interest Thursday afternoon.
The school’s Department of Public Safety said their officers, alongside D.C. Police, searched the area near the Brookland-CUA Metro Station along 7th and Monroe Streets, Northeast, according to school officials at around 4:15 p.m.
