One arrested in Southeast DC shooting

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — One person was arrested Wednesday in connection with a Southeast D.C shooting, according to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).

Police said 35-year-old Ashleigh Hale, of Southeast D.C., was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon (gun).

According to police, on Dec. 28 at 12:52 a.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 400 block of 8th St. SE.
