WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — More than two years after a woman was attacked by someone she thought was a rideshare driver, police said they arrested the person responsible for the assault.
Roosevelt Cazimir, 42, of Delphi, Md. is accused of attacking and trying to assault a woman sexually on Dec. 2, 2023.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said the woman got into a vehicle at 18th Street and Columbia Road in Northwest, thinking it was a rideshare, although it was not. MPD said Cazimir, who was driving the vehicle, took the woman to an unknown location. He’s accused of attacking her at that location.
