WASHINGTON — Three teenagers were stabbed in Downtown Silver Spring on Monday evening.
According to police, calls came in around 6 p.m. for reports of an “assault in progress” involving more than 20 juveniles at the intersection of Wayne and Ramsey avenues.
An investigation revealed that a 16-year-old and an 18-year-old were approached by a group of male suspects. The group robbed and assaulted the 16-year-old and 18-year-old. One of the teens showed a knife and stabbed two of the young people in the group.
