Fairfax County police have arrested an Alexandria man in the shooting of a Springfield resident who interrupted a burglary at his home earlier this month.
Thomas Koroma, 20, faces charges of malicious wounding, armed burglary and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, Fairfax County police said in a Friday news release.
The shooting occurred Feb. 6, at 1:34 p.m., in the 7600 block of Cork Glen Way in Springfield. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body. They began life-saving measures until relieved by Fairfax County Fire and Rescue, the release said…
