ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia said three men who were convicted for their part in an airbag theft ring in the D.C. area, much of which operated in Northern Virginia, were sentenced to prison.
Court documents said Chinese national Yuchen Zhang, 28, and Adisorn Damrongchai, 47, of Alexandria, Va. began stealing airbags from vehicles in Virginia in August 2022 and taking them to Maryland to sell them to Keith William Smith, 45, of Severn, Md., who sold used car parts, including stolen airbags…
