WASHINGTON — Sunday marked 12 years since the disappearance of Relisha Rudd, who was 8 years old when she was last seen March 1, 2014.
Rudd disappeared from the former D.C. General Family Shelter, where she lived with her family. The shelter has since closed. She was not officially reported missing until March 19, 2014.
Surveillance video showed Rudd at a hotel with Kahlil Tatum, a janitor at the shelter. Shortly after Rudd went missing, Tatum’s wife was found slain. On April 1, 2014, Tatum was found dead in what authorities said was an apparent suicide before police could question him…
