Two Workers Buried In Bethesda Trench Collapse Rescued In Massive Emergency Response

Firefighters rushed to a residential construction site in Maryland on Tuesday afternoon, where two construction workers were trapped in a trench collapse — one buried to his waist and the other nearly completely under dirt — sparking a large technical rescue operation.

First responders were called to a home on Kentbury Drive in Bethesda on March 10, where multiple reports indicated workers were in a perilous position.
