WEATHER ALERT: Storms possible Wednesday evening with damaging wind threat

WASHINGTON, D.C. (7News) — The First Alert Weather team is on a WEATHER ALERT Wednesday evening as a strong weather-maker works with mild temperatures and higher humidity. After the threat for strong storms, prepare for a dramatic temperature change on Thursday behind the cold front.

Highs will climb to either side of 80 degrees with increasing humidity and southerly breezes. There’s a chance for a passing morning shower, so have the umbrella at the ready and track the wet weather on the First Alert Weather app.

The Storm Prediction Center has the entire viewing area in the Level 2 out of 5 risk category for severe storms. Make sure to have a way to get weather alerts…
