Charlotte Hall resident Keith Mersing II, 42, and Troy Coley, 35, of New Carrollton, both died at the hospital after the former allegedly drove recklessly, sped through the light, and crashed into another driver, according to the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office.
Investigators say a 2016 GMC Sierra, operated by Austin Schultz of Leonardtown, was making a left turn from northbound Three Notch Road onto Hollywood Road at the traffic signal when Mersing’s Toyota sped through the red light.
