WASHINGTON (WDNews) — The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has announced a $112 million grant opportunity aimed at expanding suicide prevention services for veterans nationwide.
The funding is available to nonprofit organizations, state and local governments, federally recognized tribes and other community-based groups that have a proven ability to serve veterans. The grants are offered through the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program.
